Description

This Limited Edition is professional, stylish and super functional watch both in and out of the water. The 30ATM water-resistant case with screw-down crown and helium valve is equipped with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.   Even in low visibility conditions the SuperLumiNova® BGW9 luminous material allows hands, numerals and the luminous dot on the bezel to shine.

DAVOSA's high-performance material, BEYOND STEEL®, has super-class material properties. Hard as a diamond with a density of 19.3 g/cm³, and heat resistant to a melting point is 3,422 °C,  BEYOND STEEL® is practically indestructible.  This material is resistant to chemical influences and free of rust and nickel. With a hardness four times that of titanium and twice that of steel, with BEYOND STEEL® is the optimum material for the bezel inlays of the new DAVOSA Argonautic series.

By purchasing the Argonautic Coral Limited Edition, you support the non-governmental organisation Coral Guardian, which specialises internationally in the preservation and rebuilding of endangered underwater eco-systems through the reintroduction of corals.

The team working with biologist and co-founder Martin Colognoli operates on location with local structures to restore corals, and also educates local populations about this important issue.

A COOPERATION TO PROTECT THE OCEANS

Every watch counts DAVOSA’s close ties to the international diving scene led to the collaboration with the marine conservationists at Coral Guardian. The first joint project followed: the Argonautic Coral. The striking, bright orange and turquoise dials of this professional diving watch are reminiscent of fluorescent corals. Proceeds from the project go directly to Coral Guardian to support the reforestation of the coral reef on Hatamin Island in Indonesia. Every buyer of an Argonautic Coral receives a tangible receipt of their contribution in the form of a donor certificate in the accompanying booklet.

MANUAL HELIUM VALVE

The manual helium safety valve also ensures controlled pressure equalisation for the watch when surfacing. The valve at the 10 o'clock position is clearly recognisable by the helium sign on the crown mirror.

DAV 3021 Caliber

All Davosa Ternos Sixties automatic editions mount the precise automatic caliber DAV 3021, derived from the Sellita SW200, an industry-standard, robust movement beating at 28,800 BPH which gives the watch a 42-hour power reserve.
