The DAVOSA Argonautic is a collection of Swiss-made automatic dive watches, water resistant to 200 or 300 meters and available in three case sizes: 39.5mm, 41.5mm and 43mm. Every model has a sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and a Swiss automatic movement. The range runs from the compact Argonautic 39 to the 43mm Argonautic BG, the tritium-lit Lumis, the Meteorite and the World Traveller GMT. DAVOSA-USA is the official US distributor, and prices run from $1,050 to $1,590.
Named for the Argonauts
The collection takes its name from the Argonauts, the crew who sailed with Jason aboard the Argo in search of the Golden Fleece. A voyage like that needed reliability, precision and toughness, and those are the qualities each Argonautic is built around. DAVOSA has made watches in Switzerland since 1861, and the Argonautic has been its core dive line for more than a decade.
The Argonautic Range, Model by Model

Argonautic BG – The Flagship Diver (43mm, 300m)
The BG is the original full-size Argonautic, and its relaunch upgraded nearly every detail:
- a high-tech ceramic bezel
- a fluted bezel and crown for grip with wet hands or gloves
- longer hands for better readability
- an arrow-shaped seconds hand with a color accent
- satin-finished applied indices filled with Super-LumiNova® BGW9
It is rated to 300 meters and has a helium release valve, which makes it the most tool-focused model in the range.
- Dials: black, blue, grey, green
- Price: from $1,050
Argonautic Lumis & Lumis T25 – Tritium Glow (43mm, 300m)
The Lumis has been part of the Argonautic family since 2013 and drew attention at Baselworld when it launched. Gas-filled tritium micro-tubes on the hands and indices glow constantly for years without needing light to charge them. The tubes sit in custom mounts embedded in a shockproof gel. The T25 is the updated generation, with several redesigned details. It has a 300m rating, a manual helium valve at 10 o'clock and a TriaLink or PentaLink bracelet.
- Dials: black, blue
- Price: from $1,120
Argonautic Lumis BS – Tritium Meets Beyond Steel® (43mm, 300m)
The Lumis BS combines tritium lighting with a Beyond Steel® bezel inlay and a white dial with a guilloché wave pattern. It measures 43mm by 13.8mm, with 22mm lugs, a 300m rating and a manual helium valve.
- Price: from $1,150
Argonautic Celeos – Aventurine Dial (41.5mm)
The Celeos has a deep blue aventurine dial with sparkling inclusions that look like stars over the open ocean. The 41.5mm case has an automatic helium escape valve, a unidirectional bezel with raised numerals and 20mm lugs. It comes on a TriaLink bracelet with a WaveSlide clasp.
- Price: $1,195
Argonautic Meteorite – A Dial From Space (41.5mm, 300m)
The Meteorite's dial is cut from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, found in northern Sweden in 1906. Its Widmanstätten crystal pattern formed over millions of years, so no two dials are alike. It is rated to 300m, with an automatic helium valve at 9 o'clock. The case is 41.5mm wide and 11.8mm thick, with 21mm lugs, and the watch weighs 168g. It comes in a wooden box.
- Price: $1,490
Argonautic World Traveller – Swiss GMT (41.5mm, 200m)
The World Traveller tracks two time zones. It uses the DAV 3032 movement, based on the Sellita SW330-2, with a 56-hour power reserve. It has a polished ceramic bidirectional bezel with fully luminous numerals and is water resistant to 200m.
- Dials: black, blue
