Cupex Automatic 100m Integrated Bracelet Watch, Silver Dial
The DAVOSA Cupex Automatic 161.597.10 is a flat sports watch with an integrated stainless steel bracelet, here with a crisp silver Clous de Paris dial. At just 10.2mm thin it slides under any shirt cuff, yet it is water-resistant to 100m, so it can stay on your wrist for a swim.
Every Facet an Edge
The fixed bezel is cut into kite-shaped facets derived from the geometry of the DAVOSA wind rose. Polished and brushed surfaces alternate and meet in sharp, clean edges. The name says it: Cupex comes from the Latin cuspis, the point. In geometry, the cusp is where two curves meet.
A Dial with Depth
The dial is structured with a Clous de Paris pattern, and fragments of the wind rose sit within its pyramid-shaped studs. Depending on the light, the surface reads calm or lively. The hand-applied indices and the hands carry Super-LumiNova® BGW9 and stay legible in the dark.
The Wind Rose Inside
The screw-down exhibition case back shows the wind rose rotor, DAVOSA's brand symbol, winding the Swiss automatic DAV 3021 movement (based on Sellita SW200-1) with every move of the wrist.
