Description

The DAVOSA Argonautic Meteorite is a 300 m Swiss automatic dive watch with a dial cut from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite. Its crisscrossing Widmanstätten pattern formed in space over millions of years and cannot be reproduced, so no two dials are alike. Ref. 161.544.10. The price includes tax and duties, and a fine wooden box is included at no extra cost.

Why the Argonautic Meteorite Stands Out

  • A dial from outer space: The dial is made from Muonionalusta meteorite, discovered in northern Sweden in 1906. The cutting angle and the position within the meteorite make every dial one of a kind, so yours will differ slightly from the photos.
  • A real dive watch: Rated to 300 m (30 ATM), with a screw-down crown, a screw-down case back, a unidirectional rotating stainless steel bezel and an automatic helium escape valve at 9 o'clock.
  • Swiss automatic movement: The DAV 3021, based on the Sellita SW200-1, offers a 41-hour power reserve, 28,800 vph, quick date correction and a second stop device for precise time setting.
  • Easy to read in the dark: SuperLumiNova® BGW09 appears white in daylight and glows a clear blue in the dark.
  • Comfortable all day: A 41.5 mm case, 11.8 mm thick, on a stainless steel TriaLink bracelet with a WaveSlide clasp, micro-adjustment and push-button release.
  • Details you will notice: The case back carries a relief of the DAVOSA wind rose (compass rose).

A piece of history from space

Genuine meteorite dial

The dial of the Argonautic Meteorite is made of genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, discovered in northern Sweden in 1906. Its Widmanstätten pattern, the fine crisscrossing lines, grew over millions of years in space and cannot be reproduced artificially. The cutting angle and the position within the meteorite make every dial one of a kind.

Clear readability in the dark

Maximum brightness

SuperLumiNova BGW09 delivers outstanding luminosity. In daylight it appears white; in the dark it glows a clear, bright blue.

Automatic helium valve

Absolute reliability

The automatic helium valve at 9 o'clock regulates the gas pressure inside the watch and keeps the pressure equalized, so the sapphire crystal stays securely in its setting on the way back to the surface. On land, this professional diving watch is a classic, modern everyday piece.
